How AI is used on this site
Research and drafting support on this website and in client-facing work may involve AI tools. This includes early-stage research, structural drafting, and editing assistance.
AI is not used to generate published claims, statistics, or factual assertions without verification. It is not used as a substitute for legal or marketing judgement.
What never changes
Every factual claim published on this site — including statistics, regulatory statements, and platform-specific data — is checked against a primary source before publication. If a claim cannot be verified against a primary source, it is not published, regardless of how the first draft was produced.
This standard applies equally to content drafted entirely by hand and content where AI tools were used at any stage.
Accountability
Jane Cluff is the named author of every article published on this site and is responsible for its accuracy, compliance, and final form. AI assistance in research or drafting does not change who is accountable for what is published — that responsibility sits with Jane Cluff, not with any tool used in the process.
Compliance review
For content relevant to Queensland law firms, every piece is checked against the Legal Profession Act 2007 (Qld) and Queensland Law Society advertising guidelines before publication. This review applies regardless of how a piece was drafted. AI assistance does not bypass or shorten this review process — it precedes it.
Client work
Where AI tools are used as part of a client engagement — for research, drafting support, or technical analysis — the same standard applies: outputs are reviewed, verified, and approved by Jane Cluff before they are delivered or published. Clients are not charged for AI tool costs as a separate line item; AI tools are treated as part of the working process, the same as any other software used to deliver the engagement.
